True to its name, you’ll definitely feel the burn after an hour-long class at Burn 60. The small workout studio is the perfect place get an hour-long morning workout that’ll get your heart pumping, yo
ur muscles flexing and make you feel like a million bucks.

You can sign up for a class online at www.burn60.com, and once you show up, you’ll get a keychain tag that you swipe to sign in to class. Best of all—that’s all you’ll need to bring. The gym provides fresh towels and bottles of water, and the impeccably neat, red bathroom is well stocked with Kiehls and Method products. You don’t even need a lock—you leave your purse in a cubby by the door in the workout room.

The earlier classes tend to be crowded and high-energy, and the later classes almost feel like a personal training session. The instructor gets to know everyone by name and tailors the workout to three different skill levels. You spend an our hour alternating 10 minutes on the treadmill, doing intervals, and 10 minutes on the floor, doing weights and other toning exercises like push ups and lunges. The equipment—free weights, body bars, resistance bands an steps—is all bright, clean and looking like new.

The hour will fly by, thanks to the varied routine and the blasting music (ear plugs are available if you want them), and the instructor is encouraging and energetic. By the end of the class, you’ll be tired and sweaty, but pumped up and ready to dive right into the rest of your day—after a shower, of course.

The lobby also has some nice clothing selections like Lululemon workout pants and organic cotton message tees.
