Abby Stern, a New Orleans native, always knew she’d end up in Los Angeles. Wanting to pursue acting since the age of six, and hearing glamorous tales of Hollywood she knew it would be her destiny. She set her eyes on the University of Southern California. Once accepted to their School of Theatre, she moved to LA as soon as possible (even skipping her high school graduation ceremony because it meant staying in New Orleans an extra three weeks). Since moving here she’s indulged in as many of the luxuries LA has to offer as possible. A recent graduate of USC, Abby is still pursing her acting career while being the creative force behind SpoiledinLA. She’s loved living in Los Angeles from the start and doesn’t plan on to leave anytime soon.

Sheila Eisenstein was born and raised in Long Beach, California, but spent the majority of her time in LA. Her family never made the move to LA, but she always felt it was her real home. In high school she decided to try somewhere new and applied to New York University’s Leonard H. Stern School of Business. She was accepted early decision and pursued a business degree in marketing and management. Sheila loved New York but found that she always missed LA and made it a point to go home at least every other month to spend time there. Also a recent college graduate, Sheila is currently living bicoastally and continues to work on the success and expansion of SpoiledinLA.

Abby and Sheila met in the summer of 2001 at a high school summer program at Harvard University. They bonded instantly over their love for fashion, fine dining, and Los Angeles. Once Abby moved to LA they became best friends and always made the most out of LA together. One day Abby realized, why not make it their job? So they combined their strengths and passion to create what they consider the essential guide to Los Angeles.
