Denim goddess Kym Gold is at it again and has launched a to-die-for women’s denim line called Babakul. The former co-founder/co-owner of True Religion, and former owner of Bella Dahl, and Hippie Jea
Though the line is based in Los Angeles, Babakul translates into “hippie” in French, which is showcased in the effortless look of each and every piece. For Summer 2009 Gold has used fun, lightweight fabrics for pants that are relaxed but form fitting- and of course her signature denim is available throughout the year. In addition to the jean queen’s infamous pants, she’s also started constructing vests out of denim. The vests are fitted and wearing one will stop traffic with your style. And coming in the fall, Babakul will have fitted blazers with elbow patches to coordinate with the fabric. These stylish jackets aren’t just for equestrians anymore.
