Bobi, the brainchild of LA based designer Kara Lusardi, VP of sales Elizabeth Bishop, Brand Manager Michael Kofoed, and owner Danny Yeung, gives ladies that elusive combination of style and comfort that we all crave but can rarely seem to find. bobi is the brainchild of LA based designer Kara Lusardi who’s been working in the fashion industry for fifteen years. She attended design school at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and after graduation worked for companies like Cynthia Rowley.
After noticing a contemporary movement, Lusardi moved to Los Angeles with the hopes of moving into the women’s contemporary market and created her Spring 2009 collection. Inspired by LA landmark Echo Park and the girls that live there, she incorporated a 70’s Rock Hippie vibe into the collection. She combined that with a prairie aesthetic creating flowy, relaxed bohemian dresses, oversized, relaxed tunics, racerback tanks, and leggings. Her clothes are the perfect blend of complimenting a woman’s figure while still relaxed. The best part about bobi by Kara Lusardi is that the pieces can be worn from day to night so you can go from the hectic office to happy hour and still look your best. And since all of her pieces are made out of fabrics like lightweight jersey and cotton blends you can bet that you won’t have to sacrifice any comfort to receive compliments on your outfit.
